A fresh chapter for a celebrated Sunday table


September 2026, Manila – HEAT at Edsa Shangri-La, Manila invites diners to discover a fresh take on its celebrated Sunday dining experience with the launch of the Super Lunch Series: Lobster and Beyond.




A feast that goes further, the new rotating series brings fresh culinary highlights and special collaborations to the HEAT buffet, giving guests something new to look forward to with every visit. The first chapter, Lobster and Beyond, puts premium lobsters in the spotlight while going well beyond the shellfish favourite with an abundant selection of indulgent dishes and beloved HEAT classics.


Guests can look forward to fresh Boston Lobster, alongside a playful Lobster Bisque Ice Cream, a Whole Beef Leg carved to order, a Crab Market with market-style crab selections prepared upon request, and an Indian Skewer Station featuring five varieties of freshly grilled skewers. A Milkshake Bar adds a fun finishing touch, allowing guests to create their own milkshakes with a selection of mix-ins.



Adding an extra layer of Filipino flavour to the series, HEAT welcomes the Lechon Diva, celebrated for her signature stuffed roasted pigs and Filipino cuisine, for three exclusive Sundays. The special collaboration will be featured on 13 September, 25 October and 8 November, giving guests the opportunity to savour indulgent Filipino flavours in the generous and vibrant setting of the HEAT buffet.



The experience is complemented by a curated selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, alongside HEAT’s signature favourites that returning guests know and love.



The Super Lunch Series: Lobster and Beyond is available every Sunday from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM, starting 13 September, at ₱3,300 net per person.

If you’re looking for a special Sunday buffet in Metro Manila, Lobster & Beyond at HEAT, Edsa Shangri-La Manila, is worth considering. At ₱3,300 per person, the buffet stands out for its unlimited lobsters, freshly grilled and

served in different flavors. For me, the lobster is the main attraction and makes this a strong choice for seafood lovers. The spread also includes unlimited crabs and other seafood, steaks, roasted meats, and Lechon Diva on selected dates. Beyond the premium dishes, you’ll find sushi, sashimi, maki, Filipino, Indian, and Middle Eastern selections, plus cold cuts, cheeses, salads, cakes, pastries, kakanin, fruits, and ice cream.

It's also a good option for groups because there’s something for everyone, from seafood and grilled meats to sushi, Filipino dishes, international favorites, and desserts.


Final Verdict

Lobster & Beyond at HEAT is a buffet I highly recommend for a memorable Sunday Lunch food trip. The unlimited lobster is the highlight, while the variety of seafood, meats, lechon, and international dishes makes the experience even more satisfying.
