EU PORK, The Smart Choice: A taste of Europe NOW! at Landers Superstore

Landers Superstore, the country’s fastest-growing membership shopping destination in the Philippines has partnered with the “EU Pork, the Smart Choice” campaign, spearheaded by the Spanish Inter-professional Agri-Food Organization of White Pork (INTERPORC) and the Interprofessional Association of the Pork Sector in Portugal (FILPORC), co-financed by the European Union. To officially launch the campaign in the store, a special tasting event was held at Landers Arca South on August 6, 2025. In attendance were Mr. Daniel de Miguel, International Director of INTERPORC, Mr. Antonio Tavares, FILPORC representative, media partners, food vloggers, and celebrities.

Guests enjoyed a live cooking demo by celebrity Chef Rob Pengson and an expert ham carving session by Mr. Jefferson Enjambre, offering guests a firsthand taste of the authenticity, depth, and culinary excellence of European pork.

But more than a product showcase, the event served as an immersive introduction to the values and standards that define EU pork. Guests were given the opportunity to dig deeper into the story behind every cut—understanding why EU pork is widely regarded as the smart choice. From its rigorous food safety protocols and sustainable farming methods to its industry-leading animal welfare practices and full traceability systems, EU Pork embodies a level of excellence that meets the expectations of today’s Filipino consumers and culinary professionals.
